Bart Robley has been involved in music education, teaching private and semi-private drum lessons, as well as hosting master classes and drum clinics for 20 years. Bart has a state of the art drumming studio in North Orange County that is both comfortable and inviting. The Colorado native made his home in Fullerton, California in 1999, while studying music at Fullerton College.

“Music is one of the most important gifts we have been given,” says Bart. “It’s there at every memorable occasion in our life. Passing on my knowledge to the future generation of drummers is both an honor and a responsibility I take very seriously.”

Bart has studied with some of the greatest drummers in the world, such as: Gregg Bissonette, Ralph Humphrey, Rick Latham, Tony Pia and Dom Famularo. Bart’s extensive knowledge of drumming and rhythm has come together in three popular instructional books, as well as three instructional DVDs, creating a curriculum that is second to none. Bart’s efforts were recognized in 2009, when he won a Telly Award for his instructional DVD, “The School Of Hard Rocks.” Bart’s books and DVDs are all available on Centerstream/Hal Leonard publishing.

If you’re interested in studying with Bart but you don’t live in Southern California, no problem. Bart offers lessons on the Internet using the wonderful technologies of Skype. If you’re planning a trip to the Southern California area and would like to have a lesson while you’re in town, Bart offers one time lessons and you can purchase lessons in blocks of up to eight hours. Bart’s studio is located in the beautiful artistic town of Fullerton, California, which is centrally located in North Orange County, five miles from Disneyland, 15 miles from such beautiful beach communities as Huntington and Newport, and 20 miles from Tinsletown itself, Hollywood, California!
